FotoFocus commissioned Gnomic to design On the Line: Documents of Risk and Faith, a group exhibition of artists whose work engages the complex and contested relationship humans have with notions of environment, wilderness, nature, and place. The assignment included both the environmental design of the show itself, and a 208 page book published under our Gnomic Book imprint.
Presented at the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center, designed by Zaha Hadid, On the Line was co-curated by Makeda Best, Richard L. Menschel Curator of Photography at Harvard Art Museums, and Kevin Moore, FotoFocus Artistic Director and Curator.
